Support the Northwest Poitou Donkey Institute

How can you help save the Poitou Donkey,
which is more endangered than the white rhino?

You can help by making a contribution to the Northwest Poitou Donkey Institute.

Saving a breed requires more than the efforts of one person or a small Board of Directors. It requires a whole community of people who put their good intentions and resources to work. Your support will go directly to the care, breeding, and training of Poitou donkeys at the Institute and into education the public through demonstrations, tours and lectures. Because these gentle giants have a life span of 25 to 35 years, it is important for us to create an infrastructure today that will support them now and into the next decade and beyond. Our success over the next years will see healthy 100% Poitou donkeys throughout the western United States and a strong, vigorous support network for the breed.

The Institute will publish an annual report in December of each year by email for our supporters. When you make a contribution, you will receive our annual report so please make sure you include your email with your check.
